This similarity just struck me while listening to my professor’s lecture in Physiological Psychology.  She flashed a picture of Freud (below), and I just noticed Bonaparta and Freud looked alike.

I don’t know if Urasawa is just throwing a mindfuck at us… but see here, I think he drew Bonaparta after Sigmund Freud himself.

                Sigmund Freud is an Austrian neurologist, born from a Jewish family in Freiburg, Moravia, now part of the Czech Republic.He is specially skilled in neurology, psychoanalysis and psychotherapy.

Franz Bonaparta is a Czech born German (not sure about his nationality, correct me if I’m wrong) Psychologist/Psychiatrist.  He is specially skilled in psychoanalysis and counseling (as I have observed of him)

Both of them wore circular (Harry Potter!) glasses when they were old, both grew bushy beards and mustache…

and most of all, both of them believed humans can become what they want to be (Freud is a genius himself).

Urasawa… when would you stop surprising me?
