Hello, I’m Wonwoo.

Firstly, I would like to apologise to everyone who has been hurt by this incident. Rather than giving excuses like it was a mistake made because I was young, or that it’s something I don’t remember, I made the judgement that it would be right to apologise, admit my mistake, and accept the punishment, and hence I’m uploading this letter. It was obviously written by me even though it was written when I was younger, and I’m apologetic towards SNSD seniors, SNSD seniors’ fans, as well as CARATS, who have been hurt by that. I’m also sorry towards the members who have worked hard together to become the SEVENTEEN that is today.

Thinking about it now, I was really immature. I thought lightly about the stars who appear on TV, and didn’t think that my words that were so easily said could possibly hurt anyone. Only after starting the trainee life to become a part of SEVENTEEN after becoming a middle school student did I learn about the amount of weight someone who stands on stage has to bear. The large number of people that have to put in effort for just one singer to get on stage, and also while promoting as SEVENTEEN, only after knowing how someone who’s standing on stage feels did I know the meaning of standing on stage, as well as truly feel how amazing it is for SNSD seniors to be at that place and come to respect them, also while feeling the amount of love fans have been giving and how much responsibility I need to have regarding this matter. I came to learn about the effect of one comment and how the person seeing it would feel while receiving attention from the public. That is why I have been reflecting even harder on my mistake and not giving excuses.

I do not dare to ask for forgiveness. I’m going to continue reflecting endlessly, and I would also like to apologise to SNSD seniors. I feel like it was wrong of me when I look at the comments that I uploaded without thinking again, and because it was an action that could hurt anyone, I can’t raise my head with an apologetic heart. I’ll work hard to not disappoint again. I will read the criticisms and advices that everyone left regarding my immature actions and will not forget them. I also hope everyone will teach me more in the future.

I once again apologise. I’m sorry.
