Kaito is my favorite! I wish the sequel had checked back in on him. Imagine if he ended up falling for a vampire (I ship him with Maria❤️they're a softer reflection of Zeki). Zero would absolutely grill him for being a hypocrite!

Idk there’s just something about him that’s always been so bubbly and sweet that I loved. Also his whole arc with Sara was interesting??? (Also kinda badly written imo, I get it was an exploration of his own “did I like Kaname because he was a pureblood and being with Sara makes me realize that?” But it kinda just felt like an excuse to write him out for that whole segment. Same with what was happening with Rido and Shiki and how he was on opposing sides with Kaname).

BUT BEFORE ALL THAT, his happy go lucky demeanor and enjoyment and how he teased Aidou was very silly.

But Kaito omg? He was so pretty and interesting too! He came into the story late, I think he had some interesting lore in the novels I need to read BUT HIM WITH MARIAAA? STOP, THE DRAMA. THE ANGST. yes. We need more vampire hunters falling for what they’re supposed to hunt LOL.

But her giving me back my vk books means I bought multiple copies of fleeting dreams and the fanbook for nothing because she had them stored away 💀 (aka I bought one to store and one to manhandle. Now I just have 3 fanbooks bruh).
