Goddess Chrysalis Chapter 1
Ladybug is in the catacombs of Paris. She is going to defeat Chrysalis once and for all. She hears music playing. The music sounds almost seductive and hypnotic.
Ladybug finds herself in what looks like a ballroom. In the middle of the room she sees three circles that have the Supreme’s symbol in the middle of them. Adrien’s in the first circle. In the other circle is an old man that she’s never seen before, with brown hair that’s turning gray. He has duck tape over his mouth. And in the last circle is Tomoe Tsurugi.
Cerise: “The other person is my abusive father. I’ve been waiting for you Ladybug.”
Ladybug turns around, and sees Cerise wearing a black gothic lolita dress(with the Butterfly Miraculous attached to it), black lacey shoulder length gloves, black mary jane shoes, and a black bob cut wig.
Ladybug(confused look on her face. Ladybug doesn’t want to admit it, but Cerise looks really cute all dressed up): “Why are you dressed like that?”
Cerise: “In celebration.”
Ladybug: “Celebration of what?”
Cerise(does a ballerina spin): “Of my victory. Soon I will summon Gimmi into our reality!”
Cerise looks at Ladybug’s earrings.
Cerise: “All I need now is your earrings.”
Ladybug: “That’s never going to happen Lila! Lucky charm!”
Cerise: “I wouldn’t do that. I’m wearing the ring with Adrien’s amok.”
Ladybug’s yoyo falls to the floor.
Adrien: “Ladybug don’t! Forget about me! Just save the world!”
Cerise holds out her left hand.
Despite herself Ladybug takes Cerise’s left hand, and they start dancing. Cerise leans in close to Ladybug.
Cerise(whispers into Ladybug’s ear): “I love you Marinette.”
Cerise: “You’re the only one to ever see through my lies, and foil all of my plans again and again. You’re also a better liar than I am, you lied to the whole world about Gabriel.(evil smile on Cerise’s face)I love the way you lie.”
Ladybug: “We’re nothing alike!”
Cerise: “You can’t possibly think that you’re better than me?!?”
Ladybug: “I’m trying to do better!”
Cerise: “That’s a laugh! You’re not better! You were just born luckier!”
Ladybug(in a defensive tone of voice): “I wasn’t born luckier! I earned everything that I have in my life! I really believe that everything happens for a reason!”
Cerise(annoyed look on face): “So what’s the reason for my existence then!?! Did you know I’m a copy of a dead infant!? My parents wanted a child, but their baby died prematurely of leukemia. I’m a sentimonster! A Clone! (Cerise turns to look at her father)Isn’t that right daddy dearest?!!”
Cerise’s father looks away from her in shame.
Chrysalis touches the ring with Adrien’s amok in it.
Chrysalis(evil smile): “If I break the ring Adrien will die. What’s his reason for existing then? Was it just to die? People can say that everything happens for a reason, but the truth is life is cold, harsh, and hard.”
Ladybug tries to grab the Butterfly Miraculous off of Cerise’s dress, but Cerise grabs Ladybug’s hand away.
Cerise: “I guess we’ll have to do this the hard way.”
Cerise raises her right gloved hand revealing that she’s also wearing the ring of the Black Cat Miraculous on her ring finger next to the ring that has Adrien’s amok in it.
Cerise: “Nooroo Plagg unify!”
Cerise transforms into a new version of Chrysalis. This version of Chrysalis wears a black skintight costume, with black high heels, and a cat mask around her eyes. Her hair is now pitch black, and goes down her back. Her butterfly cane turns into a black cane with cat ears on it.
Chrysalis(evil smile): “You can call me Catrysalis.”
Catrysalis charges at Ladybug.
Ladybug dodges, and picks up her yo-yo.
Catrysalis charges at Ladybug.
Catrysalis uses her cane to cut the string of Ladybug’s yo-yo causing it to fall to the floor.
Catrysalis: “It’s over Ladybug! You can’t win! There’s no point in toying with you anymore.”
Catrysalis fires an Antikuma at Ladybug. Ladybug falls to the floor.
Catrysalis walks over to Ladybug.
Catrysalis removes Ladybug’s earrings causing her to revert back to Marinette.
With the exception of Adrien everyone else in the room is shocked at finding out that Ladybug is really Marinette.
Tomoe Tsurugi(in a shocked tone of voice): “Marinette Dupain-Cheng is Ladybug?!?”
Catrysalis turns her head to look at Tomoe.
Catrysalis: “I told you “mother”, but you refused to believe me.”
Marinette and Adrien: “Mother?!?”
Catrysalis: “Not really of course. But I wanted her to be my mother.”
Catrysalis turns to look at her father.
Catrysalis: “But in the end she’s just about as bad as you daddy dearest.”
Cerise’s father can’t bring himself to look at his daughter.
Catrysalis: “Nooroo Plagg reverse morphosis!”
Catrysalis reverts back to Cerise.
Cerise puts on Ladybug’s earrings.
Marinette: “Don’t do this Lila!”
Cerise: “Don’t worry Marinette. I’m not going to sacrifice you or Adrien. I’m not a monster.”
Cerise: “Tikki, Plagg, reveal yourselves!”
Tikki, and Plagg appear to everyone in the room in their true forms.
Plagg: “I am Plagg, the Kwami of Destruction. I am everything that is and no longer will be!”
Tikki: “I am Tikki, the Kwami of Creation. I am everything that isn't yet and is yet to be.”
Cerise: “Gimmi, reveal yourself!”
Tikki and Plagg hold hands and embrace each other, transforming into the ultimate Kwami, Gimmi.
Gimmi: “I am Gimmi, the Kwami of Reality. I am everything that was, is, and will be.”
Gimmi: “Hi, little human! How are things going for you? Say, what year is it, huh?”
Cerise: “I want to make a wish.”
Gimmi: “Here we are. Yet another complainer. You humans only ever summon me to complain, never to rejoice.”
Cerise(evil smile): “After my wish, no one will ever complain to you ever again.”
Gimmi: “Fine. What do you want? Eternal life? Wealth? You want garden peas to turn red? I'm warning you, though: to each wish, it's sacrifice because the universe is balance. For example, if you wish for garden peas to be red, then strawberries will have to turn green.”
Marinette: “DON’T DO THIS!”
Gimmi: “What do you wish for?”
Cerise: “I wish to rule over an immortal kingdom where no one has to fear death ever again.”
Gimmi: “What do you sacrifice?”
Marinette, Adrien, and even Tomoe all gasp in shock at hearing what Cerise chose to sacrifice to Gimmi.
Cerise(evil smile): “Well Marinette it looks like I’ve won.”
A bright pink light shines upon everyone in Cerise’s lair. The whole universe is engulfed in the bright pink light as it rewrites all of reality. Marinette, Adrien, and Tomoe can only shield their eyes and avert their gaze as they brace for the end of the universe as they know it before being engulfed in the light.
Cerise’s father lets out a scream as the pink light washes over him and erases him from existence.
