this is a 20k word post-canon thing I wrote because I am Crazy and want to explore what happens after the story. it got away from me a bit.
it's the progression of the Narrator's mental state as he realizes that he, for some stupid reason, deeply misses Tyler, even after shooting hot steel through his cheek to get him out of his head and his life. and also he maybe sort of has to deal with the whole Marla situation because he maybe sort of is totally disinterested in romantically pursuing women. happens to the best of us I guess
this fic is rated explicit and contains crass sexual references throughout, so please do not read if you're a minor or if you're otherwise uncomfortable with that. there is a bit of smut in it, but this is largely plot focused !!
