Cudgel in my face

So, I’m not done but hopefully you’ll come to appreciate how far I got tonight and a many picture stream of progress.

My most recent cosplay commission! A hand painted, custom made, Journey-inspired high waisted skirt!

There are SIX yards of fabric in this full circle skirt, and another six in the attached petticoat—lets just say, it weighs a lot! The design details are all done in a shimmering, metallic fabric stain that once heat set is completely washable, dry-able and iron-able.

 …so for halloween I think im going to cosplay John…cosplaying casey/ a salamander. pfff! 

A friend and I really wanted to make kigurumis so we decided to make Homestuck consort ones! 

I really love the salamanders so I decided to make mine it based off of the cuties in LOWAS.  

ill try to get some better pictures that arent just crappy phone/in mirror combo quality. 

Finally he’s done! God tier Gamzee is my part of a trade with acrilyctemper. I am so, so very sorry this took so long.

Scalemate body is Eyes5’s pattern modified a bit, the rage symbol is embroidery, and I made the pattern for the hood and the codpiece. He was going to have wings but due to the size of his back and me having a disagreement with my wires, that sadly didn’t come to be. But if you squeeze his nose he squeaks :D Wish I could have found something that honked though.

So since the last time I submitted, I’ve started and nearly finished scalemates of all the troll Ancestors. Mindfang and Handmaid are still in progress, but I thought I might as well post some photos up right now.

As you can see Handmaid’s dress is not yet painted, and Mindfang’s paint needs more touching up.
