Dear Tumblr,

I spent so much time scrolling as a teenager. I’m sorry for leaving you so abruptly! There were these things called Facebook/TikTok that consumed much of my time.

You won’t believe what happened! People went from writing long blogs to short videos that captured tiny snippets of life. We disconnected from personal interaction. The pandemic made us all stay inside. Soon enough, we forgot how to communicate and everyone stayed home.

It’s safe to say that a lot has changed! I went to college, played golf, got my degrees in Psychology and Criminal Justice, and made lifelong friends. I’m an adult now! On the heels of my 32nd birthday, I am proud of who I am!

The last time I logged in, I was in my teens and very insecure. I was in the closet and desperately trying to figure out how I would bust out. I’d sit on my laptop for hours scrolling in #wlw Tumblr hoping I’d find a way out of the closet. Guess what? I am proud to be an active part of the lgbtq+ community now!

You were always there for me, Tumblr. While I may have left for a decade and some change, I’m still around. People were scrambling on TikTok trying to figure out where to go. MySpace doesn’t exist anymore. So, I decided to come back to my trusty ole Tumblr. I can’t wait to show you all of my new interests and hobbies. I’m with the LPGA now. How about them apples?! I’m a dog mom too! Yes, I still have a husky.

Going through some cards. I keep every single one that has ever been given to me. I found this one from my high school graduation! People sure do know me!👌🏼😂

I’m glad I was bullied for being the biggest Taylor Swift fan in high school. Because now I can just say...🎼🎼🎼Someday, I’ll be livin’ in a big ole city and all you’ll ever be is mean.

So, as a “Swiftie” of nearly 15 years...can we just meet in person already?!

There is NOTHING like the anticipation of getting the CD in your hands. You then have to peel off the tape on the very top of the case. It always takes a little longer than you want. Finally, you open it...

IT’S.AMAZING. The colors and shimmer are magical!

I got to do this often growing up in the age of compact discs. What kids today don’t get is the experience of opening the CD and popping it in the boom box.

So, I REALLLLY loved the 1989 Tour version of Love Story!
