did i truly waste my time reading 202 chapters... for this?

dont get me wrong, its not my manga and I dont get to decide what i do or do not. however the "save a character for the plot" shit always pisses me off. why would you make your followers cry over something so trivial as making us believe that the worst-case scenario happened, wipe your hands and say SURPRISE when it was obvious that it shouldn't have been like this.

let me explain.

Kanao didn't lose her vision, somehow she keeps her eye sane, even when they made it clear to us that that shouldn't happen.

two chapters ago giyuu was crying. now he's drinking water as if nothing had happened (what about to the emotional atmosphere we felt in chapter 201?)

Muzan was defeated in the most pathetic way possible. They made us believe that he was almost indestructible, that his only weakness was the sun but now Tanjiro with some "friendship power" managed to beat the king of the demons. just like that, with a little will and some good memories with friends.

Nezuko could hardly keep hes own consciousness. her memories from when she was human were not enough to fight the blood of Muzan. SHE ONLY HAD THE BLOOD OF A DEMON IN HER VEINS. TANJIRO HAD THE FUCKIN KING INSIDE HIM.

And no, you can't tell me Shinobu's antidote was enough. Again, we're talking about the demon king himself, the argument that he was weak is not enough. Muzan was in another body, one free from the antidote he received first. Tanjiro's body was healthy, in better condition. There is no logical way that a different medicine that could not even weaken him was enough.

I would have believed it if, for example, Tanjiro had turned someone into a demon and Kanao had given that someone the medicine.

I wouldn't be surprised if Mitsuri and Obanai are alive in some way (even if they haven't received treatment), that would be the limit of my patience with this irrational script.

Why do I say this? On the pillar panel we saw Himejima, but Tanjiro should not know that he is dead. According to what they showed us in chapter 200, Himejima has already moved to the other world, he went with his children, the same goes for Shinobu and the others.

But according to what we saw in chapter 203, none crossed, none of them were really at peace, they were always there somehow and the panels with the pillars meeting their family after dead were only a shitty excuse to make the readers cry. And Obanai's haori wasn't anywere to be seen. So he and Mitsuri should be alive.

Kanao is doing a good job, the detail of leaving her a healthy eye right for this moment is... woah.

But really the resolution of everything is to give Tanjiro/Muzan a medicine made of wisteria flowers? maybe the point of that is to weaken Muzan, the medicine used in Muzan barely served to weaken him. They were lucky that it was dawning because if it had not, no one would have survived and Muzan would have fled away.

then what will happen once Muzan in Tanjiro's body is weak? someone's going to have to cut Tanjiro's head off. You can't tell me that medicine is going to work because mUZan iSs JUstT adAapTInGg To tHe bOdDyy and he's not a threat, that may have worked to make Zenitsu's fight against Kaigaku convincing, but I doubt it would work for Muzan. Tanjiro is throwing lightning like crazy like wtf he's strong and powerful just like how he is right now.
