“Is it alright if I lipsync? Or is that wrong to do? It’s just I’m not the best singer here. Especially considering we have Luke and Darren in this group.” Taissa laughs lightly, she hoped not to embarrass herself infront of everyone. A moment later she looks toward Oliver. “Do you have any secret singing skills, Oli?”

“Clearly you haven’t watched it closely enough.”

“I have and you’ve made a name for yourself as the house asshole. How does that feel to have that title?”

“Well, I mean, there’s been over a hundred different people in this house? So if my math isn’t completely terrible… that equals over a thousand? I could be wrong, though. So don’t hold me to it.” Jesse then took a step back as she moved to grab her tools. A slow clap soon following. “Look at you go. That’s pretty impressive.”

“Yes, I think you’re very right there. I’m not doubting you math at all. I’ll trust your judgement.” Taissa stops after a little while and then smiles softly. Bowing as he claps for her. “Thank you, it took me months to get this good.”

“As if that’s even possible. And that all sounds great, but… do I not get a hug first?”

“Always so charming, Stark. Of course you do, come here.” Taissa comes closer and embraces him.

“I think I lost track once we passed one hundred, but I can definitely say that I’ve heard a lot of them over the years. Nice to see you again, Taissa! I’m not sure if you remember me, but I’m Darren. Self-taught mediocre juggler, amongst other things.”

“You’ve been here so long, it’s totally understandable to lose track. I can imagine so, Darren. Of course I remember you, how could I forget someone so memorable? I’d love to see your mediocre juggling, perhaps I can give you some pointers?”

“Hundreds sounds about right, but I bet none were as cool as someone coming in saying that they know how to juggle. Could you teach me? I’ve always wanted to learn. I can’t even juggle two fruits at the same time, which is as embarrassing as it sounds.”

“Hey, yours was pretty cool. Can I borrow that Goosebumps book sometime to see if I can solve it? Of course, I’d love to teach you how to juggle. It’s an essential skill to have. By the time we’re done with lessons, you’ll be a pro.”
