Eirlys Noson

“I would rather be left alone.” He scowled at her in disdain, “Out of my sight.”

He sat in the corner of the cell, keeping his distance from her. There were no words for him to speak. After all, it was him who asked her to create this safety net all those years ago. Once seated he let out a scoff at her.

Hours later, the beast king awoke. Taking in his surroundings and trying to remember how he happened to get in here. At first he thought he was indeed captured my the Empire’s flunkies, but then he traced his steps, remembering he never left the monastery.

“I see you have finally awoken.” Eirlys stated, appearing on the other side of the bars. “I was beginning to worry but you honestly looked like you needed the sleep.” she added, standing before him. “Welcome back to the land on consciousness, your highness.”

He remained there for sometime, out cold and his features softened as he slept, forgetting his vendetta for just a little while.

Down in the dungeon, he was knocked out on impact with the stone floor. The king laid there- bound up and still as the sands now.

The ore chains disappeared within a minute of him being unconscious. It would be later that Eirlys would make her way down to check on him, after all that spell was taxing on her and it took time to explain to everyone why she had such a spell that was clearly aimed at Dimitri in the first place. Felix having a sword at her throat the entire time certainly hadn’t helped things much.

He growled like a caged beast when he was slammed to the ground. Even without the power of his crest, the deluded king struggled against his restraints. “I NEED that woman’s head!”

“You... poor man.” Eirlys muttered, making her way over, the others completely stunned by her actions on Dimitri but none seemed to be able to move at the moment. “You’ll have your revenge when it won’t cost you your life. Surely your ghosts can wait that long... or you’ll be joining them before you can grant them their request.”

Dimitri still runs, making leaps and bounds compared to her. Smiling and laughing like a madman who’s christmas present came early, he righted himself into the direction of Enbar and continued onwards.

Eirlys grit her teeth as she hand shot out in front of her. “Digofaint Chains!” she shouted.

Strong chains of blackened, condensed, flames erupt from the ground and quickly wrapped around Dimitri, slamming him into the ground at they dulled in color and cooled to a dark blue ore, some melting onto his back to mask him crest.

“Out of my way, unless you also want to be slaughtered as well…” He growled out threateningly, teeth showing before he took off running. It wouldn’t be long now and he would be outside the vicinity of the monastery.

“Dimitri!”  Eirlys huffed, following him. She now had a trail of other following her as well at this point of Blue Lion members, all clearly worried.

"For goddess sake, stop!” she huffed.

It was like a moment of pure stupidity. None of the others were even trying to stop him, just following her with worried looks. Then again, they only real means of stopping him meant injury for themselves so that had to be why even the professor seemed hesitant on acting.

He let out another dismissive grunt and barged through the doors. Warnings be dammed at this point. His hallucinations screeching at him to kill anyone that stood in his way.

He glanced over his should, throwing daggers with his glare, “Hmph.” He grunted out before continuing onwards. Blinders up, it was nigh on impossible to sway his opinion so easily in his time of psychosis.

“You do not know what they want!” He snapped, “I purged the rats out of this monastery for more animals to take their place it seems… Dawdle all you want here. I am leaving.”

Quickly, he turned his heels and started to storm away, his armor clanking and creaking as he stomped.

“You will not tell us more than Edelgard’s death! How can I know what all they want from you if you do not tell us so we may help you?!” she questioned.
