Dressing “boss” today, against the morning cold with a vintage leather trench coat over a cashmere Brioni.

Greyed out today with a leather bomber, paisley cardigan, and kafiya. 

Honouring my Scottish roots again today by wearing Blackwatch … the tartan goes back to 1725. This Paisley silk scarf sets off an otherwise plain Harris Tweed sport coat. Both honor my Scottish roots.

This old Glen plaid sport coat has a red accent in it, so I’m hoping it will pair with lots of grey and a little pink accent.

It’s tweed weather here in NC. Elbow patches are casual enough for jeans any day!

Here’s a great fall sweater by Relive. Paired with jeans, it doesn’t get any more casual (or comfortable). Pick the right cardigan, and your look evokes the style of a sport coat.

The cool weather today invites a tweed estate jacket. Then Italian pants, braces and a Gerba chain spice it up.

Fall colors for a swing dance.

Tone one tone today, in olives for the start of our fall weather. The jacket is a garment washed Banana Republic. It’s unlined/unstructured and has an Italian-tailored look to it. The shirt is English Laundry by Scott Weiland. Adam Derrick’s “To Boot” shoes round out the look.

I’m ready for a huge west coast swing dance tonight. This super light Patrizia Pepe blazer works well over very a breathable club shirt from Fender. With the flame pocket square and red skull embroidery on the shirt, a dear friend calls this look “El Diablo”.

This unlined green blazer by Be For Milano will work great with fall colors! 

 A light blue Italian summer blazer (by Dimattia) works well on dark brown shirt by Fender. The khaki pants pair easily along with brown single monks.
