"I know there's people out there who aren't glukks or Vykkers or any of them just trying to pump out propaganda and advertise at us. But a few people have got radios that do pick that stuff up, and I think some people are worried it might... iunno, encourage people to tune in to that kind of stuff... or that we're not meant to be constantly tapped in to what people are doin', and it's best not to have it at all."

Zooz slides out of the saddle and scrambles to the top of a nearby sheet of rusted metal jammed halfway into the ground, surveying the area around them. The decaying frame of the lab looms in the near distance, just as ominous in death as it was in life. Trill is on edge. Zooz can tell. He recognises the sound-shape of that thing even when all that's left is bones. What's different now, though, is the dearth of Vykkers.

Zooz doesn't like strong scents, especially strong artificial scents, so perfumes give her a headache and sometimes sneezing fits. Drag her through the perfume section in a store, and she'll be leaving the store needing a lot of tylenol, and being surrounded by ladies wearing perfume is not her idea of a good time

She was forced into a dress and high heels several times in secondary school. Her first time in heels lead to her falling flat on her face and making a fool of herself and her dresses were often stiff and overstimulated her. Lotta tears after school formals. Also, she does NOT like how open and vulnerable dresses make her feel, the idea of a skirt blowing up or riding up horrifies her big time and she's always been picky about jewelry, again, for sensory reasons

In formal events, you're more likely to see her in the most elaborately designed suit and tie you'd ever see

She never got into hats beyond simpler more practical ones. For her, a simple beanie or cap suffices.

She tried wearing tight leather or latex after seeing Zool in his ninja getup, but she could never get into it because sensory hell. Her leotard is made of a softer fabric and she goes for that whenever she looks for tight fitting outfits in general

She and Zool sometimes fight over what kind of music to play in the ship lol. She'll switch to R&B and 80s rock and Zool will switch to grunge and hip hop. 80s new wave and 90s EDM genres like rave and jungle drum and bass, though, are vibes that they can both agree on, so a lot of music in their ship's playlist consists of that

Zooz gets a routine refresher every now and again since they're my very first Oddworld character. A former Flub Fuels worker, Zooz had a hard time with the culture shock on being thrust out into the free world with little guidance and none of the conveniences or (few) comforts industrial life afforded.

Trill is a former vykker test subject who escaped the lab he was held in in the midst of an accident that left him momentarily unattended and unsecured. In the chaos he suffered a nasty chemical burn and after breaking out crash-landed in Zooz's figurative back yard. Zooz, at the time, was at the end of his tether, struggling with isolation and his inability to integrate into the local community. Finding Trill exhausted, bloodied, and still bearing the markers of his previous captors, Zooz felt a certain kinship with him. Where a lot of people would have found a pissed-off, unfamiliar apex predator and decided to leave well alone or put it out of its misery, Zooz' inclination was to help.
