💦Thank you everyone who stopped by my tent at Squonkapalooza! It’s always a blast to be surrounded by cryptid friends!

To go with a dragon and star-fossil base, I figured an ancient tree, pond, and stone henge would be a good complement for the top of the pet project. 🦐 Now to do some test prints!

After some trials and tribulations and test prints, and a round of tweaks at the suggestion of my architect husband, the base of the pet project is done! 🦐

Now on to designing the next part—the top!

One more cryptid goodie debuting at Squonkapalooza—CryptoZoo Deluxe Boxes! Whether you want to level up your own reading experience or gift to a fellow cryptid-lover, each box includes an author-signed copy of CryptoZoo, art prints, mini poster, bookmark, stickers, a stowaway cryptid, and more!

I’ll be bringing some to Squonkapalooza, some to Authors in the Steel City, and will have them online at Painting Dragon Feathers and available for drop shipping.

💦Along with the resin-dabbed Squonk figures, debuting at Squonkapalooza this year I’ll have FUNCTIONALLY CRYING SQUONKS 😭. My clever hubby helped me hollow my design out, so now these Squonks have real crying action! You can find them at Squonkapalooza, or online at Painting Dragon Feathers.

Next phase of the pet project—a base! 🦐 I’m aiming for a mystical fossil vibe. But what is it a base for? Stay tuned!

This may not look like much, but this is the first technical, not sculptural, 3D print part I modeled and printed from scratch! And it functions as intended!

What is it though? This is first part of the pet project. 🦐
