We (and for we, I mean I) don't talk enough about Zirk's potential acoholism.
He drinks, and drinks strong. He doesn't drink silly fun brevages and doesn't seem to care about good tastes or refined wines. He wants the stronger thing that can burn his throat and get him shitfaced instantly.
And as a heavy drinker-- This man drinks to abscent himself, to destruct his own person and stop thinking for a minute. Zirk's one step away from adiction at every moment and the only reason he isn't an alcoholic is because he probably self checks, controls and forces himself to stay sober to work (to exhaustion if possible. No toughts a way or another.)
Because an alcoholic isn't functional and if he isn't functional he isn't useful and if he isn't useful he's basically unworthy of any kind of positive interaction.
Relistening to Eldermourne and Zirk being horny for coronercon in the first ep vs him fucking an undead thottie through a bag in the final arc is soooo good
