A quiet ink wash landscape inspired by traditional Jiangnan scenery — mist drifting across still water, distant mountains fading into empty space, and a solitary pavilion resting beneath an ancient pine. The soft monochrome brushwork creates a calm meditative atmosphere shaped by silence, reflection, and classic Chinese shanshui aesthetics.
This piece leans into minimalist oriental landscape art, sumi-e textures, and timeless East Asian ink painting composition rather than heavy detail, letting negative space become part of the scenery itself.

🌿 Xieyi Painting · The Rootless Tree —Verse 50: Rootless Bloom
Within a softly glowing sky,a single tree stands in silence.Rootless, its branches twist and bend, and yet one white flower quietly bloomsbetween heaven and earth. This Xieyi painting is inspired by''The Rootless Tree: 100 Verses — Verse 50.'' It expresses the strength of standing without fixed ground, the vitality that emerges beyond form, and the sign of life that appears without resistance or attachment. The tree does not oppose the wind, nor does it cling to the soil. And yet, when the time is right, the flower appears—naturally, inevitably. To be rootless is not a lack, but perhaps a freedom that allows one to connect with all things.
