Occupation: Minor background alien of the movie
First Appearance: “Star Trek: The Motion Picture” (1979)
Summary: These large-domed humanoids were incapable of breathing or seeing in the M-class oxygen-nitrogen atmosphere most humanoids take for granted, and wore their distinctive headpieces in order to interact with others. A Zaranite served aboard the USS Enterprise during the V’ger Incident.
