Like, the vampires aren't all THE BEST people, we know this, however looking at their past, its almost. . . . sad. Most of them didn't want to BE a vampire, Shelby didn't, Pyro didn't, only one did (cause hes a freak) and Owen did have a choice, but not much, as it was he became a vampire or lived a life alone. They do kill people, so do the humans, but the vampires aren't all the best, besides, Owen is mad at humanity cause they killed Lewis, so he kills, which makes them try to kill him. Its cycle, they kill and then the other group kills. The best example is watching from the different POVs of humans and vampires. The humans povs make the vampires feel scared, but from a vampires pov, its the other way
