“‘Uhibuk….” Noah closed his eyes as Ali leaned in for another gentle kiss.
“‘Uhibuk….” Ali whispered against his lover’s luscious lips, connecting them in a slow, methodical rhythm.
‘Ali….’ Noah hummed in his mind as he moaned into the kiss. ‘….make me yours.’
Ali smirked into the kiss as a low rumble escaped his own throat. ‘Is this a wish, Noah, or a command?’
‘A command.’
‘In that case, who am I to refuse?’

We had a conversation about how they would get along and came to the conclusion they would be great friends and have a youtube cooking channel together. In this picture they're making @cowboybrunch's little bean Bongo his favorite meal (or trying to, anyway).

So I just finished Your Wish Is My Command, after months of being uber-hyped for it, and I have a lot of things to say about it ^^
First of all, love the grumpy/sunshine dynamic with Noah and Ali. Ali felt like a manic pixie dream boy, but I say that with the utmost adoration, he is so sweet and naive, and I love that he wanted to make the most of the limited time he had outside of his lamp before the curse forced him back inside. I loved how protective he was of Noah as well, and how his naïveté and desire to fit in with his new peers evolved into wanting to protect Noah from the bad people in his life, especially Mal. Your OC: Ali from YWIMC
Ali is a 1000+ year old genie who was cursed in ~620 AD in his mid to late 20s. He was born in Sharma, Saudi Arabia and moved to Madinah with his father at 8 years old—where he remained until trying to flee back to Sharma to run from his curse (unsuccessfully). To say coming back to modern day was a culture shock would be an understatement. He is a practicing Muslim, highly energetic, very friendly and personable, and sometimes unaware of his own strength. If he was a dog breed, he would be a golden retriever.
My OC: Cole from Viscered
Cole Hill (he took his wife’s last name), or EXP-25, is an escaped government bio weapon. He escaped when he was 18, and has been trying to have a normal life ever since. After wandering in fuck-nowhere Texas for a year, he eventually set up camp near a university in Houston, where he met Julia. By the time of the story in 2018, Cole is 35. He lived a fairly happy life with Julia, where their friendship turned into a full on relationship after she graduated. They eventually got married and the rest is history. Cole can often be distrustful and even hostile to people if they seem suspicious enough, but is a pretty chill guy if he doesn’t think they’re a threat. He’s a lot more observant than talkative.
Their interaction?
I think Cole would be suspicious at first, but would quickly come to realize Ali is genuine in his friendliness. I don’t think Cole would question the whole being a genie thing, since, again, Cole is a bio weapon who can do freaky body horror mutations on the spot. Ali would be a great guy to kill time and talk to, I think Cole would like befriending someone with weird powers too. I think they’d be the bro version of grumpy x sunshine, is what I’m saying.

Creating stories gives me so much joy, and sharing them with a wider audience is all the merrier. ‘Remember Spring Break?’
“….” Noah blushed, carefully removing his glasses before the lenses fogged up. He remembered the evenings where Ali and him were under the throw on the couch, enjoying Baltic pastries and commenting on the architectural design of Mayan temples. He recalled Ali’s arm wrapping around his shoulders and pulling him closer as they watched Blue Planet. Noah could taste Sharma on his lips as if it were yesterday, feel his roommate’s skin on his own, smelt that sweet cologne lingering in the hall in front of the bathroom that he looked forward to every morning. Burying his face in the short silk of Ali’s shirt as the genie saved him from two deserts that week; and in both….Noah remembered just how safe he felt in Ali’s arms.
‘…..Yeah. I do.’
