Yvette & lights
3, 6, 9, and 19 for Yvette :D
3. If your OC could revisit their childhood, what would they want to change about it, if anything at all?
Revisiting their childhood, I think Yvette would've tried to talking things out more with Trahearne before leaving the Grove with Lukas. At the time they were too upset that he hadn't pushed back against the Pale Tree's decision to make peace with the Asura and too driven by their need for justice (read: vengeance) to hear him out. If they had, the twins still would've left the Grove, but likely wouldn't have resorted to joining the Nightmare Court.
6. How comfortable is your OC in their skin? Do they like who they are? What would they want to change about themself?
Answered here!
9. Describe a mundane day in your OC's life.
After EoD, Yvette gets used to sleeping in (~9:00-10:00am), but they'll get up to feed the cats and let their griffon roam. Usually they'll have the morning to themselves, and so they'll make themself breakfast and take a walk around LA or fly around Gendarran Fields, while in the afternoons they'll volunteer for a few hours at whatever local hospital or infirmary the city has. At some point in the day, they'll indulge in their hobbies like making tea blends and experimenting with soaps, or on occasion they'll hop over to Divinity's Reach to visit Kas and Jory. Either way, they try to get home in time for dinner with Lukas and Taliesin, and end the day unwinding with a nice bath, and maybe some wine if they're feeling silly.
19. How does your OC handle preparing for and initiating a difficult conversation? How does the conversation itself go?
Yvette's used to consoling the families of the patients they lose and other work-related losses, so for those types of difficult conversations they don't need much preparation; however, the closer to home the point of conversation hits, the more they're prone to overthinking and psyching themself out.
If Yvette is the one to initiate, they have to take a few minutes to rehearse and mentally prepare - deep breaths and generally steeling themself for whatever conversation needs to be had. If they're in the right headspace and aren't caught off guard, the conversation generally goes well. If they're surprised, they'll handle the initial talk well, but probably overthink when left alone to think on it and, in rare cases, spiral.

6. How comfortable is your OC in their skin? Do they like who they are? What would they want to change about themself?
OHHH this is a fun one. Yvette used to be pretty uncomfortable in their skin before personal story. Within the Nightmare Court, they were abused, forced into a relationship they hated, and unable to save countless other saplings like them and instead made to do the bidding of their Duchess. Needless to say, they don't like the kind of person they used to be.
After abandoning the Nightmare Court, they tried turning their life around, only to go too far with it: somewhere along the way they started giving up pieces of themselves to make others happy. After LWS4 (elaborating on this in the next question) they recognized that they couldn't continue like that, and starting working on taking care of themself again.
12. What is the worst thing that has happened to your OC? How has it affected their behavior, their health, and their life in general?
Aurene dying in Thunderhead Peaks was devastating to Yvette. Losing her was hard enough on its own, but this was also just after they had lost Lukas to Balthazar (he got better, but still.) Losing both their daughter and their brother within the span of two years kinda breaks them, honestly. They were already a workaholic before, but the guilt ate away at them to the point they developed a full blown martyr complex. They worked until they dropped for weeks on end, only doing the bare minimum to care for themself (in their head they didn't deserve any better). This, unsurprisingly, triggered their chronic illness, which caused them to crash for months after Aurene's ascension.
On top of it all, Yvette's partner threatened to leave them - not out of a lack of love, but because he loved them too much to watch them repeatedly set themself on fire to keep everyone else warm. However, this was the real wake up call for them to recognize that oh, things have gotten bad, and pushed them to get some genuine help.
17. What are some of your OC's coping mechanisms during stressful or overwhelming periods in their life?
Yvette's primary coping mechanism has been to keep busy, although they've definitely taken this too far in the past, at least when paired with their Need to feel useful and considered A Good Person. After the death of Soo-Won, they've been trying other ways to cope without spiraling, like "relaxing" and "having hobbies".
