So things look bad and your back's against the wall

The whole damn fight seems fucking hopeless

So things are filthy as the tavern's outhouse wall

Can't face this fight cleric and rogueless

You're out of spells

You think your life is wrecked

Well let me just say you're correct!

You're a fighter baby

A human fighter baby

You're basic but there's ass to kick

You're a fighter nat 20

You're a two weapon fighter and dont have dex or smite or

Any sneak attack to add damage

Throwback to that one time Hildebrandus and Amber caught a changeling that didn't appear too impressed!

Ok imagine a classic amnesia fighter character, but instead of a quest, they slowly regain memories as they level up, remembering how to fight.

my party lay unconscious around me. the dragon towers over us, we've lost. my shield, my last connection to my past life, is ribbons at my feet.

it rears back its great golden claws, and i close my eyes, ready to join my friends.

i see a girl, we are sparring in a field. her voice sounds like a siren's song.

"it's easier to dodge a strong blow if you duck beneath it. It'll be tough because your instinct is going to be to dodge along the arc, that's how you end up dead Corinth"

Corinth? Is that me? Almost without thinking, I begin to list to the right. i fall to the ground, and the dragon's claws cut my cheek as it barely fails to split me in half.

i struggle to my feet and raise my sword. the dragon roars.

i shouldn't be alive, but i'm going to find out who i am.
