In the Flower Fields of the Garden of the Sun there is a large number of fairies who took up residences there after an incident involving shub-niggurath, an Ice golem, and exploding fairies. The former leader of the once wild pack but still mostly in charge of keeping her kin in some kind of check, it’s Izumi the Lighting fairy! With plans at first that included stuffing Mole hills with Dynamite and lighting the fuses, she has sense learned some more level headed ways to handle the chores given out by the Owner’s of the field. The bucket on her head was her typical headgear of choice back when the pack of fairies were out in the open world, but she has switched it up for a Beret given to her upon their new living arangements. She still breaks out the bucket helmet for what she considers ‘dangerous’ jobs though. Really though, Izumi here was one of the first ocs I made waaaay back in the year of like 2012. Back then she was just playing foil to a possessed Cirno I think, or she could of been the one possessed, I can’t really remember its been so long and looking back I cringe at how edgy I was in making that plot thread. So in away I partly owe her my current state of not only where I am here on tumblr, but where I am with the friends I meet back then and still are friends with even to this day. I thank her for that. I love and highly encourage OCs! I get why they’re hard to promote and get attention for, seeing as it’s much easier to interact with a character you’re already familiar with. But still, it sounds like so much fun to create a character of your own and put them out there to RP with! I’ve wanted to do so myself, but I don’t think I have enough mental energy to do so. I can barely focus on Yukari and Sakuya at the same time as it is. Maybe one day. My head is full of ideas and I feel like some people know this because once in a blue moon there will be times where I’ll just gush and won’t shut up.
