“So you’ve been sulking in here all week, then?” Yuvan raises an eyebrow, looking up at him. It was frustrating, as easy as they folded under Lucanis’ gaze, he often found himself doing the same in return. He turns to the side, but avoiding his eye contact doesn’t improve the situation.
“I’ve kept busy.” He protests, but he knows it’s not believable.
“I think…” Yuvan guides Lucanis’ face back towards him, and the assassin would be a fool to not recognize the glint of hunger in their eyes. “You’ve been through a lot, and you deserve to be celebrated.”
Lucanis smirks, though he swears he could melt under their gaze, some days. “It sounds like you have something in mind.”
“Perhaps.” Yuvan hooks their fingers into his collar, pulling him down into a kiss. Part of Lucanis had been anticipating it since the other man walked in the room. He leaned into the kiss, immediately deepening it. There’s a satisfied smile on Yuvan’s face when he does, he can feel it against his mouth.
