he's somehow roped his new roommates into helping him lug equipment. finds himself increasingly irritated by the fact he doesn't actually hate being around them. in his silence, he finds himself constantly looking over his shoulder, scanning the crowd for his sisters face. doesn't feel right that she's not here with him. hole in his chest feels like it's getting bigger with each day that passes without them talking. but thoughts are soon interrupted by a grating sound that diverts his attention to the stage. " jesus christ— " there's noah and wes, sickeningly sweet in their own bubble, making his ears bleed. his gaze casts towards todd and winston. " you remember when i asked if there was any chance of you two getting it on ? " he points over his shoulder. " that's my old roommates. " figures that alone will explain why he moved out.

maeve's  moving  pretty  quickly  (  and  semi-desperately  )  through  the  crowd  in  the  hopes  of  AVOIDING  RILEY.  she's  pretty  sure  he  hadn't  spotted  her,  but  she  didn't  feel  like  risking  it.  knees  are  bent  slightly  to  make  herself  seem  shorter  in  the  crowd,  and  a  flood  of  relief  washes  over  her  as  she  spots  winnie.  a  buffer.  hands  plop  on  top  of  winnie's  shoulders  and  she  squeezes  (  probably  a  tad  harder  than  she  means  to  ),  a  tight  smile  spreading.  “boy,  i  am  so  glad  to  see  you  !”  she  turns  them  around,  ducking  slightly,  just  to  make  sure  riley  wasn't  hot  on  her  trail.  “are  you  enjoying  the  party  ?”  she  begins  walking  backwards  and  farther  away,  pulling  winnie  with  her.  “YOU  A  CARNIVAL  GIRL  ?”

never  one  to  sit  still  ,  vada  drifts  down  the  aisle  towards  a  customer  who’s  been  lingering  over  the  same  thing  forever  —  she  reckons  they  just  need  a  little  push  to  finally  make  up  their  mind.  "  still  thinking  it  over  ,  are  we  ?  you’ve  been  at  it  for  almost  an  hour  now.  "  it  was  meant  to  be  funny  ,  but  the  sickening  sweet  smile  could  barely  hide  the  sarcasm  in  her  tone.  frankly  ,  this  is  kinda  part  of  her  business.  "  do  you  want  it  or  do  you  not  want  it  ?  "  she  asks  ,  head  tilting  with  a  sly  grin.

"Honestly, you can find me here all night.. I think this is the best drink I've ever had. It's been real." Ivy had found the perfect spot in-between the drink and food tables, her shoulders wiggling in excitement. "Your costume looks great."

being  at  the  temporary  tattoo  station  was  ALL  TOO  FAMILIAR  for  the  two  of  them.  “you  know,  this  is  a  first  for  us.”  not  the  matching  tattoos  –  they  already  had  two  of  them.  just  the  fact  that  these  ones  would  be  temporary.  “i  feel  like  i'm  putting  more  thought  into  this  than  either  of  our  previous  ones.”  a  combination  of  too  much  thought  and  not  enough,  considering  how  she  hadn't  actually  asked  winston  if  he'd  wanted  to  get  a  matching  pair.  “which  one  are  you  feeling  ?”

LEAVE  IT  TO  BRETT  to  be  the  reason  the  little  theater  needs  a  days  since  our  last  incident  sign.  only  a  complete  idiot  would  burn  himself  with  melted  butter,  and,  well  …  an  idiot  he  was.  so,  he's  sat,  holding  his  wrapped  right  hand  in  his  left.  he's  just  grateful  it  wasn't  his  dominant  hand.  he  really  hates  the  idea  of  being  somewhere  he  had  to  provide  personal  information  to  access,  but,  unfortunately,  his  job  was  forcing  him  (  and  paying  for  it  ).  so,  he  sits  and  taps  his  foot,  growing  more  impatient  by  the  second.
