Normally, Tabby wouldn't suggest such an important discussion happening in the town's quaint diner, but she wanted to have multiple options. If the news was good, then they could splurge on a pie or something. If the news was bad, then at least the bad feelings wouldn't be associated with Billie's home. Besides, it was fairly late and quiet in the diner, they wouldn't be disturbed or overheard. A waiter had just dropped off their food. Tabby, with her cherry coke and disco fries, looked over at Billie with an encouraging smile. It was amazing to her how Billie always looked so beautiful, even under fluorescents. "Hey, whatever it says, it doesn't have to change anything if you don't want it to. You're your own person, made from the ground up. I love you exactly as you are, you know that."

the  smile  on  his  face  is  unmatched  as  he  watches  the  couple  parading  around  the  stage  to  their  rendition  of  ‘you’re  the  one  that  i  want,'  head  lolling  over  to  tap  russell's  arm  and  point  to  the  stage.  “have  you  ever  done  anything  like  that  ?”  he  asks,  more  open  to  asking  questions  after  the  last  time  they'd  seen  each  other.  marco  certainly  hasn't,  even  the  idea  of  karaoke  giving  him  chills.  he  figures  that  could  mean  it's  time  to  sign  the  two  of  them  up  for  a  karaoke  night,  in  the  name  of  facing  his  fears.  “they  look  like  they're  having  the  time  of  their  lives  …  EVEN  IF  THEY  LOOK  A  LITTLE  STUPID.”

due  to  not  being  close,  jennie  had  her  own  assumptions  about  russell.  only  noticing  him  at  their  apartment  complex,  she  thought  she  would  never  see  him  outside  of  it,  preferring  to  be  alone  and  indoors.  so  when  passing  by  after  her  show,  it  was  a  surprise  when  she  saw  him  out  and  about  during  the  rhythm  and  waves  festival  grounds.  rather  than  continuing  on,  she  stopped  to  pull  him  aside  from  whatever  he  may  be  doing.  “aww.  did  you  come  here  to  support  me?  that's  very  sweet  of  you.”
