When you picture a modern Hades god of the underworld:

what do you see...

a) leather waring, Motercycle riding badass who for sure has tattoos all over himself and can beat your ass into the ground if questioned. Intimidation comes just from him pulling up or being mentioned, and his words are harsh and cut throat

b) dark, no-nonsense, business man, in dark fitting suits and secrets that will go to his grave, is 100% better than you, sass is on point and his word is final, will fire you in a heartbeat and you can't change his mind for shit

c) Lone wolf who keeps to himself, all his work is privet and done behind closed doors, he keeps silent but when he speaks you want to listen, brooding and sulking are his specialties and don't expect to see him around

airport!tom :) 345 words - You sit at the airport waiting for Tom to arrive. Over the past two months you’ve been facetiming, texting nonstop, with little phone calls here and there to leave little ‘I love you’ messages. He’d been away shooting and on his press tour for Spiderman: Homecoming. You and him had discussed you tagging along, but then realizing the type of pressure you’d be under in the media, once the significant other rumor had been confirmed. You’re there to surprise him, he has zero clue where you are, for all he knows, you’re at home.

You twiddle your thumbs, your hands shaky and nervous. It had been a month, and although you had been talking constantly, you were afraid that he’d maybe lost feelings. The announcements go over head calling boarding calls and flight numbers.

The sudden sound of a group of a multitude of teenagers fill your ears. He’s almost close enough to you to hug you again, to hold you again. You look to his bodyguard who stands there with a grim face, beaming. The voices of teenage girls got closer, indicating the distance between you two was getting shorter.

The two bodyguards met with the one with to lead Tom to his car. You stand right outside the door, waiting for him to come out so you can latch onto him. As he steps outside, you grab his left hand causing him to look at you.

At first his eyes seem completely glazed over, but after a few seconds he blinks and his entire face lights up. He pulls you into the car and once the door is shut he pulls you into his arms. “Fuck, I missed you so much. I’m so happy to see you, I’m just..” His voice trails off as he dug his face in the crook of your neck.

Your eyes tear up, it felt like too long, you pull away and pick up his face. You hold his face in your and and smile at him. “I missed you too, babe,” you say, your heart beating out of your chest.

Despite everyone else’s pleas and warnings I kept defending you. Well they were right and I am the fool. I thank you for this as it showed me who my true friends were and who would stick with me through tough times, who would return the affection I gave to them and not expect me to blindly love someone.
