Coordinating working full time, studying and taking care of the house with mental health and bad things happening in everyday life is just so so hard and tiring.
I’d honestly just relax today and I feel like I deserve it a bit but I wouldn’t be able to relax anyway because I have the studying deadline stuck in my head, I’m afraid I’m going to fail.
I’m also having issues with my boyfriend which I wish were not as distracting and just moved in this new place because I had issues in the previous one.
Can I get a break? Ugh.
10th October 2017 So after I failed to get into med school (which really broke my heart) I’m trying to figure out what I should do as a second option. Yesterday I went to the “psychology” lessons, today I’m at the “political studies and international relations” lessons. I’m hearing the lessons so I can figure out better what I’m going to do. In any case being in a university really makes me so excited, this is really my place! I don’t think I ever want to stop studying. I can’t wait to study and do exams!
4th September 2017 Last desperate day studying before the Italian medicine entry test. Can I say I just feel kinda sad now, there’s not much I can still do… I’ll do my best but I honestly doubt it’s going to be enough. I’m very disappointed because I should’ve done more. Now all that matters is what is going to happen, what I’m going to do. I’ll try not to think about the past!
29th August 2017 Studying chemistry in my room (it’s kind of weird because I rarely study here, I’m always studying here and there)! I cleaned my desk and wrote on my blackboard because I want to be motivated all the time! It’s also very strange that I’m studying right now because it’s 10:30PM and I rarely study at night! I guess things change, I don’t have time to lose!

2 hours and 44 minutes before the test. Anxiety is clearly here, I wonder how this is going to end. I'm gonna be okay somehow. There's not much more I can do. I'll just focus, do my best and I hope I'll be luckier than I usually am!
29th August 2017 Revising some anatomy and phisiology with this YouTube video! Exactly one week left to the medicine entry test and I’m freaking out! I doubt I’ll get in and it’s going to be my own fault. All I know for sure is that this is a huge life lesson. I’ll keep studying hoping I’ll pass at least the IMAT so I can study medicine in English. If I won’t I’ll just go with my plan B.
16th august 2017 Studying muscles in my boyfriend’s home (he’s out running). I’m using the pomodoro technique and I must say I find it very effective for me! Yesterday I was thinking a little and I realized I had lost hope. Hope about my goals, about everything, my chances to get into med school were going ridiculously low not because I’m not able but because I was barely trying… I can’t lose it! I needed to remember the thrill I felt every time I dreamed about working in a hospital, helping people, knowing things… everything, now I’m back on my path and working hard! In 2 months I’ll be starting university, I wonder where I’ll end up…
