"What if I could sing just one song and it might save somebody's life?" | from 'Hope for Now' by City and Colour. π In Chinese Medicine, the element of metal is associated with characteristics of precision, strength, shining, inspiration, structure, taking in and letting go, sitting with and processing grief, and knowing one's value or worth. Do you feel valued? Have you added value to another person's life or to the world? I believe that we all have unique gifts. Gifts individual to each of us that only we, as individuals, can share with the world. I'm still learning what my own gifts are and how to find my own voice and path to use them for good and to make positive change in people's lives. But think about, we may never know the impact we have on others. But I do believe in the possibility that singing one song, teaching one yoga class, smiling at one person, saying hello, being kind, or just being present for a friend has the potential to make a profound difference in someone's life. If we strive to add value - true value - to another person's life or to the world, can we fail? I'm willing to take that risk. β¨πβ¨ π·: @sophietashkovski π: @kiragraceyoga . . . . #ymcatskills #goldengeminiyoga #goldengemini #yogamedicine #yogainspiration #yogaeverydamnday #practiceandalliscoming #practiceyogachangeyourworld #mindmakeover #sparkleitup #dontmissout #metalelement #ym500 #cityandcolour @cityandcolour_official (at Menla Mountain Retreat)
