I hate Voit both as a person and as a character (last season with him please god), and the criminal minds universe would probably be a better place if he were dead. But the fact that these fbi agents are like oh yeah we will take him out of prison, interview him, use him and the things we tell us like he’s our own personal tool, but yeah if they ever decide to kill him at any point we would just leave him in the dust, feel no moral concern, and that wouldn’t bother us at all.

you also clearly don't know anything about the Greek Gods or lady Aphrodite- She has punished women just for being too beautiful. if you think Greek Gods are benevolent deities then this faith is not for you.

there IS something very wrong with comparing ANY mortal woman to Aphrodite, as it's extremely disrespectful to Her to compare Her beauty to a mortal's. there are many myths as to why this is a Super Not Okay thing to do. for this, i recommend reading the myths of psyche and myrrha.

whether or not Gods have races is something we'll never know, because we're just mortals. however, They are meant to represent Their culture and people. you wouldn't depict an African God as anything other than African, a Hindu God as anything other than Indian, or an Egyptian God as anything other than Egyptian, because it erases the culture They represent. the Gods are not characters for you to assign headcanons to for the sake of representation and inclusivity, especially when that culture has expressed their frustration towards this topic.

i also didn't say anything about all Greeks being lightskin? i reblogged a video of a Greek person explaining classism in ancient Greek culture. i'm saying that Greek Gods shouldn't be depicted as a different race- but if you want to depict a Greek God with an olive or brown tone while still keeping them ethnically Greek, then that's perfectly respectful and fine to do!!

i’m sorry my previous reblog came across as racist, but this still needs to be discussed because Greek people are being affected and hurt by this. why do people change the race of a Greek Goddess to be African, Asian, Egyptian, etc while ignoring actual Goddesses of those cultures? it’s disrespectful to all cultures involved and people need to stop neglecting other deities just because Greek mythology has been turned into a trend by the west.
