The fact that they had that scene where Spencer pretty much say Derek and him are tied to be besties™ forever and the latter just confirms it....that scene where Reid downright says "this team loves you, so we'll do anything for you" and by team he is obviously includes himself.....the fact he later on was the shot saves Derek's life..... The "I am trying to save your life so be quiet!" On Entropy, and the fucking HUG that lasted like 30 seconds or so, plus the implicit "I love yous".....all in the season they part ways....and the fact that Spencer is the last person Derek sees before quitting.....
