Xiphias, my beloved Eurekan relic weapon, now with a gijinka form!

A duo of knife throwers from Ura’s crew, Dorado and Xiphias! Dorado is the constellation we observe today, but Xiphias was once an alternate name for it, so I decided to make two characters out of that fact :) They’re the “hired goons” type, and while Dorado appears to be more of a meathead than Xiphias, I assure you that they both share the brain cell in equal measure xD

One thing I’ve noticed with designing characters for this series is striking a balance between reusing colours in ways that unify groups of characters without them being used in the exact same way. Xiphias has a colour scheme that’s almost identical to Ura’s and yet the execution left enough room for his use of the scheme to still be distinct from hers, and same with Volans for that matter. Each of the characters in the Sky Mirror Circus have pink as a deliberate unifier, so I’m glad to see that it didn’t homogenize the group in the process!
