Xisuma: Ate a bunch when he was a kid testing out his shapeshifter abilities, thinking that he had to match his diet to his form. (He doesn't.)

Hypno: Spider hybrid, but somehow has only ever eaten bugs when asleep. A few Hermits have seen him just chomp down on a fly passing over his face while in the middle of a nap.

Keralis: Ate a bug when he, an oblivious eldritch horror, was first learning how to blend in with mortals and eat things. Hated the taste and has not eaten any more since.

Joe: Eats bugs as snacks. Regularly. Except for the few times he somehow managed to befriend the bugs he caught.

Bdubs: Ate multiple as a kid because someone told him they were nutritious and would help him grow taller.

Cleo: Ate bugs for the first few weeks after their zombification. She felt so guilty over killing and eating her entire family, they withdrew from all meat and hunting for an extended time.

Mumbo: He will claim that the only time was when Grian dared him to, but...many times, when he's on a mountain, he happens to see a plump, appetising bug, and...

Jevin: Keeps eating bugs by accident. In his defence, there's really nothing he can do about the fact that everything that enters his slime eventually gets digested. He just puts his hand down on something and oh god he just ate a bunch of ants.

False: As a toddler lab experiment, she was abandoned by the scientists and left to fend for herself. When she got hungry, she would hunt the bugs around the lab to eat.

Tango: Zedaph made him eat bugs for science. He also keeps roasting bugs with his hair - they're attracted to his flames.

XB: Tried eating bugs after seeing Joe eat them. He doesn't mind the taste, they're crunchy. Sometimes borrows from Joe's stash.

Impulse: First ate a bug on his first sojourn into the Overworld because he, a Nether denizen, was eager to try eating leaves for the first time, and didn't check his haul carefully. Since then Zedaph has made him eat bugs a few more times for science.

Etho: Has eaten bugs a few times in his long, storied lifespan, just for fun and whimsy.

Doc: Generally tries not to eat bugs, but has subsisted on them while working on projects for extended periods, multiple times. Food isn't exactly easy to come by underground after all, not to mention bugs are bite-sized and hence technically more convenient than preparing porkchops.

Ren: Ate a bug once when he was a curious little puppy and got seriously ill. Since then, has been extremely cautious around bugs, and back then kept hovering around his little brother to make sure he didn't eat the "bad bugs".

Wels: Has eaten bugs before on his adventures, mostly when out of food rations, or at the orders of his employer.

Cub: Ate bugs for science. According to Scar, he still eats the new bugs he finds till this day.

Scar: Ate a lot of bugs as a kid because his brothers dared him to (they all ate bugs together). It isn't even part of the Vex diet, Scar's whole family just doesn't have much self-preservation relative to their love for curiosities.

Beef: Has eaten a bug once out of curiosity... it was on his grass sandwich, and who's he to miss an opportunity?

Zedaph: This madman eats bugs regularly. He is so familiar with the intricacies of bug-eating, he actually made a tier list of how delicious different species of bugs were, which is apparently a very hot take because somehow every other Hermit has at least one placement on the tier list they vehemently disagree with.

Grian: He's a bird, he can eat bugs sometimes. But he ate them mostly when he was a kid abandoned on the streets, so bugs as food have some negative associations for him.

Pearl: Between being brought up on the streets and loving the wild, she ate many bugs growing up. She stopped eating insects when she hit adulthood however, because only then did she find out she was a moth, and so eating insects was kind of cannibalism. Spiders, however, aren't insects, so she can still enjoy her favourite filling snack of tarantulas - she's immune to the poison.

Gem: Hates eating bugs, but keeps getting dared to eat them. First it was Fwhip, then Pearl, then Grian, then Scar... She will never escape her chaotic besties / family making her eat bugs, because she never gets to turn down their dares.

Skizz: Impulse keeps making him eat bugs. He always hates the taste so much he pulls a funny face, and promptly forgets about the experience by the next time Dipple asks, and of course he'll do anything for his partner. He'll never learn. Impulse keeps doing it because it's funny as hell and hasn't killed either of them (yet).

Joel: Lizzie sometimes asks him to eat bugs solely for her (harmless) amusement. He is fully aware that it's not going to be a fun time for him, because he hates the texture, but he can never say no to the love of his life. Her smile is enough to make up for the experience.

Bdubs: The quietest, eepiest little 'wha-?'

Beef: A glorious, bassy, 'moo'

Cleo: A little gasp and 'yay!' at an unexpectedly good situation

Cub: Sometimes Cub will replicate Scar's way of saying 'Cuuub...' but with 'Scaaar', particularly if he's tired

Doc: Little surprised bleat

Etho: Etho has the cutest sneeze

False: A little birdy chirrup

Grian: Every time Grian hugs someone he says 'hug :)'

Gem: Gem snores like a deer

Hypno: He sometimes just buzzes like a bee if he's happy

Impulse: Whenever Impulse is listening to music with headphones on, he's quietly singing along or drumming to it

Jevin: Sometimes just bloops like a slime

Joe: Little giggle

Joel: Sometimes whines like a dog when he's scared. Is in denial

Keralis: Boop! *boops ur nose*

Mumbo: Surprised squeak

Pearl: The little nonsense songs she sings, particularly to animals or plants

Ren: Pants like a happy doggo after zoomies

Scar: Sometimes Scar purrs like a cat when you hug him. He doesn't know he's doing this. Cub has recorded it so many times, but he's still denying it

Skizz: If he's trying to come up with a nickname for you, he will go through so many alterations, and just say one in passing to see if it works or not

Tango: A tiny vexy giggle when he's amused

Wels: If he realises he's making noise with his armor, he'll just bounce repeatedly and make even more noise. Also does this if he wants your attention, just clank clank clank- 'WELS STOP CLANKING!'

Xisuma: He can make the noises of the animal he's turned into. The axolotl squeak was a personal favorite of many hermits

xB: He just sometimes lets out streams of bubbles when he's underwater.

Zedaph: *bleats like a sheep*. Also has a sheepy influence on some words he says. It's often more of a Zehhh-daph when he says it

Day 15; xB!

Day 15: XB!! As a Booble!!

What I think would happen teamwise if the non-lifer Hermits (and Oli) did a life series:

Team GOAT/team horny: Doc, False, Keralis: Trying SO HARD. False and Doc adopted Keralis as their child and regret immediately

xB: Playing everyone. Pretends to be on everyone's team, helps everyone, just Wandering most of the time gathering resources

The Lovely Farm: Zed, Joe, Oli: Denying this is a death game and having a lovely time building a pretty farm. Get ransacked at least once a session, shrug and just go 'sucks to be me I guess'. No one actually kills them, but they're constantly dying of random things. When Zed dies, Joe and Oli actually Lock In and do quite well

Obby Bois: Cub, Jev, Hypno: Try hards. Build a house out of obsidian, speedrun portal style. Probably have netherite armour. ABYSMAL social game. Cub is completely oblivious of the others as allies and literally endangering them in every plan of his. Jevin is Suspicious of this, when not being a feral chihuahua at everyone. Hypno keeps annoying the other teams, but they're all too good at Minecraft to actually face the consequences of their actions.

Derpers: Xisuma, Wels, Beef: Don't know what they're doing, but trying their best. Here for the vibes. Are all the parent of the group, and also all the confused child. Only ones who never attack The Lovely Farm. They do have a lot of resources though. Beef has made a shady deal with basically everyone. None of them work out in his favour

How about Elvis XB? (In a glittery rhinestone skirt and fishnets because I understand that the actual draw of this is the male hermits in dresses)
