How much time he gains who does not look to see what his neighbor says or does or thinks, but only at what he does himself, to make it just and holy.

No thought has any power. You have power. And when you identify and believe in the thought you give power to the thought.

I am not teaching you. You are consciousness, and you are listening to yourself. There is an Eastern saying: “The teacher and the taught together create the teaching.” In any case, the words in themselves are not important. They are not the Truth; they only point to it.

You must understand the whole of life, not just one little part of it. That is why you must read, that is why you must look at the skies, that is why you must sing, and dance, and write poems, and suffer, and understand, for all that is life.

A mind all logic is like a knife all blade. It makes the hand bleed that uses it.

Do not focus on any one object during meditation. Instead, give up looking for explanations. Learn to let the light shine on your own nature, learn to forget objects.
