this image wasn’t from the AU, but i thought that it fit nicely into this story’s vague narrative so i also put it here. in this story, pripara’s virtual world likely doesn’t exist so mario is just a human who used to be childhood friends with amari. what are they now? it’s hard to say…

but since these were drawn when there was only 3 episodes of idol land pripara to go off of, my depiction of mario doesn’t match his actual personality as shown in the canon story.

This AU is 3-4 years old now and i didn’t think much about how the club actually came to be, so i drew this with the irony of two guitar newbie forming a “guitar club” in mind. The caption above is something that i just thought up now and im sticking to it.

Also, you might be wondering, “why doesn’t Naru just ask Ito to teach her?” as i did for the first time while making this post. Since this is immediately after Rainbow Live’s finale, i assume that Naru didn’t want to ask Ito such a big favor when her family has just recently reconnected. Plus, i think that Naru undertaking this task herself was part of her efforts towards becoming more responsible and independent, which we see her start to do at the end.
