while we stroll along || Gemma & Braedon
Gemma's loner streak seemed to be dissolving and had been since the date of the dance. Inwardly, Gemma was pleased that her date had never shown his face, at least not to her. It allowed the girl to branch out and meet the young gentleman that was Braedon and, currently, was to be meeting her in Central Park. As expected, when Gemma had told her parents about her 'not-really-a-date-but-sort-of-a-date' they had completely shot down the idea with the notion that her and Braedon had only met and hung out twice and they'd only known each other for two days, really. Gemma had pouted though and, after convincing them that there really wasn't anything terrible that could happen in the middle of the bright winter day in a very public location, eventually they caved.
A cream colored peacoat with shiny gold buttons, a matching knit beret, a furry cream muff, black tights and boots and bright red gloves made up Gemma's 'out and about' getup and she was rather proud of herself. Her dark hair hung in glossy ringlets and she clicked her heels together excitedly at the very edge of the central park gate after having been driven over. She patted her small over the shoulder back, securing that she had her phone and house key in case Bradeon should not turn up or something equally tragic. Gemma knew he'd show though. She had faith in her Cindefella from the dance and knew that they'd have a good time. Besides, could any day really be bad when it was sunny with a chance of snow, bright rays glinting off the already formidable snowbanks and causing the air to practically glitter with excitement?
