I needed time to process the #WWCC2019 final because as we all know, I was rooting for @teamhasselborg to win gold, and I take #curling way too seriously. Itโs something I invest a lot of time, money, and effort in, and when things donโt go as hoped/planned, like when my favorite teams lose, itโs like a stab in the heart. ๐ช๐ Itโs easy to get bummed that Team Hasselborg came just a little short in Denmark. Theyโre disappointed, Iโm disappointed, itโs like Oprah but in a bad way. But I have to applaud these women for the way they played the whole week. They lost their first game but went #undefeated all the way to the final. They played with a lot of heart and determination, but sometimes things just donโt go your way. Seasonโs not over though, and Iโm already excited to cheer on my Swedes again.
