I needed time to process the #WWCC2019 final because as we all know, I was rooting for @teamhasselborg to win gold, and I take #curling way too seriously. It’s something I invest a lot of time, money, and effort in, and when things don’t go as hoped/planned, like when my favorite teams lose, it’s like a stab in the heart. 🔪💔 It’s easy to get bummed that Team Hasselborg came just a little short in Denmark. They’re disappointed, I’m disappointed, it’s like Oprah but in a bad way. But I have to applaud these women for the way they played the whole week. They lost their first game but went #undefeated all the way to the final. They played with a lot of heart and determination, but sometimes things just don’t go your way. Season’s not over though, and I’m already excited to cheer on my Swedes again. I believe they’ll add more GSOC titles, the Curling World Cup championship gold, and the #wwcc2020 gold to their illustrious resume in due time 😉😉😉 Thank you for being the unexpected bright light in a #heartbreaking and #disappointing #contcup2019 #lasvegas trip.
