We FINALLY won a #curling game YASSSS!!!! ππ»πΊ Our vice had a robotics thing tonight so we actually needed a sub and were blessed to have Owen, one of the @curlsandiego directors in our trio. #twoguysandafangirl and #twodudesandafangirl still apply. I didnβt realize it last week that it was Owen who was curling in shorts π Glad we had such a talented #curler on our side this week since we were on Sheet E where the ice likes to pull ALL #curlingrocks to the left during odd ends. π₯πππΈπͺπ₯πππΈπͺπ₯πππΈπͺ We played against another trio. I finally found out the age of the the youngest person in winter league - 13, and heβs been curling since he was 11. I asked if he had aspirations to do juniors, like the elite levels, etc. and he was very adamant about saying how he only does this for fun. Spring league starts right before my birthday and Iβve put in the plea already to the powers that be to please pretty please put me in a trio since my current teammates are taking spring league off. I know which team I would prefer to be on, but IDK if their skip would want me because theyβre good and competitive.
