There are so many people who don't do enough research on what ingredients, offerings, etc, that they use in their craft can be very bad for their fluffy friends! I think it's important to share this information to be certain that you're keeping your animals safe alongside your witchcraft journey.
Also, I am in NO WAY the most knowledgeable person for this, but I've done some research in the past and I was recently asked to share a list of things that can be quite harmful. So, I present you my grimoire page of things to avoid with cats. Everything listed here can be toxic to cats on varying levels.
