This is a short introduction to the very first photographer that managed to spark my influence in photography.

I use instagram 24/7 I love uploading my pictures and I love it even more when people react to my photos, it boosts your inspiration to then top that photo and create bigger reaction. I feel like this is what Corey does with his work.

Beforehand when I hadn't seen his blog, I really was using standard photography, I hadn't grasped onto the fact that yes you can take photo and appreciate... but also that you can CREATE a photo and in doing so CREATE an emotion towards the viewer of that photo.

When I saw Corey's blog, I was instantly hooked by his work. The images in cases were very graphic and 'bloody' which for me normally would be something I don't like looking at ...what so ever. However the most beautiful thing about his work is that it has a meaning behind it. There is nothing simple about his work, you can see his thought process and his ability to be confident in his work even if we do see some blood or 'suicide messages'.

His work has inspired me and has continued to inspire me for a good two years now as I am always embarking to create meaning in my photos.. which I do not think I have fully succeeded which is why I love to keep at it and try and produce more shots that are a bit more random and confusing.
