When I was a kid in high school writing books like #warandchess sometimes felt like the only true freedom of expression I had left at my disposal. There are works that have never, and never will, see the light of day. Now that I'm an adult and I operate under my own free will, sometimes I have to remind myself that no. I don't have to sell this to anyone. I can write a book the size of War and Peace if I want to and post it to Wattpad! I can write a poem and hide it in a safe. This is still completely mine. At their "best" love is sometimes forgotten because it came easy maybe? Some say nothing worth having comes easy. Does that mean what was forgotten wasn't love? Nevertheless, this is my promise to you. One I shall dare not break. Keeping everything holy as a witness. Because I want you to know that this is a promise of a lifetime.
