I'm in a process of writing a very niche AU for Hollanov fanfic (there is like, less then 30 fanfics with the Zombie apocalypse tag) and fuck, it's my first fanfic outside my native language.

Writing continuously in English is harder than I imagined. Also I'm using way too much of my own anxiety experience to write my Twin Shane™, I do not have much experience with autistic people to try to make something more pronounced

Also also I have no ideia how the area between New York, Massachusetts and Montreal looks like or work, Google maps are doing a lot of pulling

About a year ago I set a goal of adding a thousand words to my story every week. It isn't a ton, but setting an achievable goal really helped me stay committed. More importantly it helped me slog through some scenes that were really tough to get on paper; I didn't have to figure out the whole thing, just another thousand words of a rough draft. Its still slow going but now I have about 150 pages of material, which is about double what I started with (that first half took years of real stop and go writing as I just dropped the project for months at a time due to some writing block or another). I don't know if this will be useful for anyone else suffering from writing blocks, or just a busy adult life, but I figure it couldn't hurt

Just one more chapter, I swear, just one more. Ninety percent of authors give up just before their characters finally get back to fucking.

Too many ideas

Someone turn off the brainstorming part of my brain that comes up with story ideas rather than things that should happen in my current WIP. Yet again, I'm getting into a new fandom ( the last one was the Halloween movies. I have 3 ideas from that) and getting ideas. Currently, I'm thinking about Hannibal. Set on the NBC show, which I read, takes a lot of ideas from the movie Red Dragon. The only movie I watched was Hannibal. I have several ideas with what I know, which likely isn't mixh. It also might be because of the OCs I have already. So I think I'm up to 50 planned stories to write, but there are a lot more fandoms I want to write in. Oh yeah, and I want to do the writing challenge ms on Tumblr which I'm already failing.

Writing Confession

I have such a problem with writing scenes or developments where main characters trust the wrong people and/or making Cringe mistakes because I myself always cringe and yell when I read that content in other works and I just hate to do it to characters myself

Gotham fanfiction :

I wrote about 650 words today.

I don't really write that much these days (for health related reasons).

I made some vocal notes though. I'm adding little parts of scenes that will help make the lot make more sense, if you get what I mean. 🙄

BTW, I came up with my very own first RIDDLE! I asked a few people and... apparently it's not that bad. I'm relieved. 😌☺️
