I absolutely adore the name Laith, and when I was writing my first (!!) Muslim character, I decided that it would be a great injustice not to use one of my favourite Arabic names. Also, it means 'lion'. How could I not use it, really? And then I learned that Laith is also a Scottish name!! And I love Scotland! I lived there for a few years and I have yearned to return ever since. So, yes - love the name Laith.

I would say one of my favourite pieces of cute worldbuilding in my stories would be the fact that in Belvatria, there's a wedding tradition in which a couple plant a tree when they're married and take care of it together. It's supposed to represent the amount of care and time that goes into a successful relationship. My short story The Garden Maiden tells the story of how this tradition originated.
