i noticed your tags on the azula and zuko art that you rbed and,, the feels azula deserved a redemption arc :pepehands:
i know 😔 i simply cannot stop thinking abt the concept of “redemption arcs don’t happen when you’re comfortable but when you’re at rock bottom” she was at rock bottom!! and at her rock bottom we saw that she’s not as emotionless as everyone thinks she is, she’s desperate for someone to trust and someone who loves her, desperate for an actual support system, but admits to herself that she has no idea how to go abt getting any of that without the only method she’s familiar with: fear. not to mention that she herself is afraid to open up to the notion of those things in the first place — “well, what choice do i have? trust is for fools.” of course that doesn’t excuse what she’s done and obviously, obviously it would take an incredible amount of work to pull off an arc successfully and sensitively (personally i think we would have needed more than just a fourth season to cover it all, unless the whole season was dedicated to it which would have been unlikely) but we could have gotten so much more from her... the potential of it all
