Lightwood kids to Lightwood parents core
An idea I one had was to make a set of Lightwood family pictures, with each being from a different year.
We start in the 80s with picture of just Maryse and Robert (maybe their wedding pic).
Then the next one in ‘89 with baby Alec.
Then one in ‘91 where little Izzy makes her first appearance.
Then maybe 1 to 3 intermediary ones from ‘92 to ‘97 to show Alec and Izzy go from babies to kids.
Then Max makes his first appearance as a baby in the ’98 portrait.
Jace gets added in 2001 (is that the right year?) when he comes to New York.
Then maybe a few from 2002-2006 showing Max grow into a kid as Izzy, Jace, and Alec become teens/young adults.
Then one in late 2007 without Max. Everyone is wearing white in this picture.
A few more pictures, Alec adds his kids and the kids’ fiancés slowly make their appearances and stick around.
I just think it could be neat. if I drew it, the sketches would be very rough, but i still think it would look cool.
I like to imagine that sometimes shadowhunter families make artifacts that specifically serve as a physical representation of their sigil.
That would be so cool, hypothetically. Imagine: A rose made of metal with petals carved out of jewels. Bracelets or necklaces with a pattern of thorns. A gilded torch, shining with an ever-burning flame. Horseshoes that make the horse faster, stronger, smarter. A diaphanous pair of fairy wings.
Seriously, that could be so cool.
