Happy Monday, fellow daywalkers! I usually like to point out something fun or cool that happened on today's date, but today I wanna note something kinda somber (with a really, really bulky, sweaty, uncomfortable name): The U.N. has declared today as the official "Time of Remembrance and Reconciliation for Those Who Lost Their Lives during the Second World War" (whew - that's a mouthful! Let's just say "Remembrance Day").
So, in recognition of Remembrance Day, I humbly suggest you take a moment to reflect on the MILLIONS and MILLIONS (between 35 and 60, depending who you ask) of people who died during the brutal years of WW2. And - today and every day - remember the courage, legacies, and families of those who fight and die for YOU. The Wounded Warrior Project is a legitimately awesome organization dedicated to helping those very heroes, and it's an honor to show them some love with one (or both) of these (very inexpensive) adornments!
