Long story short my parents were the victims of a predatory loan and then when they divorced Dad did not pay the payments like he was supposed to (his end of the bargain instead of having to pay alimony). Mom, one sister and I still live here in the house. This has been our home for over 30 years and we may lose it...

There is still a chance be fore it goes up for auction; if we can come up with $105,000 it will reinstate the loan (or something like that). There will still be payments to make but it will not be put up for auction. Dad says he has 15,000 to put towards it (so you have the money now, huh Dad???) so we are trying to sell stuff, raise money etc to come up with the rest. Sadly the rest of the family is as poor as we are but they are trying to help with what they have.
