Bees are incredibly important to me and inspire many of my designs 🐝 So to celebrate World Bee Day, here’s my first attempt at Lino-cutting back in 2017 that I hadn’t got round to posting before 🐝 This design is based on my beehive embroidery design (swipe to see) and reproducing it was so much fun! Bees can detect human faces, which means they can recognize, and build trust with their human caretakers. Bees love their queen… until she gets old When the bee colony decides that the queen bee is slowing down too much, they may begin to breed new queens. The first new born queen that hatches must kill the old queen bee and all the other hatching queen bees.
