This design is mainly inspired by traditional outfits typical of Andes countries (Peru, Bolivia) where textile traditions have been passed down through generations and are still being used today.
If you've been to Machu Picchu, you may have seen outfits like these, especially the traditional multi-colored skirt called 'pollera.'
The pink dress is typical of the Peruvian coast, and it is used for a dance called 'marinera.'
Llamas are ubiquitous symbols of the Andes and couldn't be left out, of course 🦙🌼
