Frustrations
How are these babies that we send home (parents ) ever supposed to be able to make it? Squeaks mom finally got housing, a car , a job , but now doesn't qualify for full daycare assistance , food stamps or medical for her (kids are covered) . She happened to get a bonus one month ( that she bought her pos 1k$ car with) and they cut off the assistance. They say she can reapply in a few months after her "windfall " runs out. We did a budget for her, and there's NO way she can without our help, so we will be buying her groceries at minimum. How the hell are others that don't have people to help supposed to make it? She's a good mom, a good person, and a hell of an inspiration to so many addicts that don't think they can do it. They are literally forcing her to choose between power and health care for herself . If we lived in a town with a good public transport system it would be easier, but Vegas sucks. In order for her to get to work on time and the baby to daycare she would leave her house at 3:30 am and return at 8pm . The baby has health needs as well. I'm so incredibly frustrated 😤😡
