#wizard sky

Genuinely one of my favourite parts of The Wizard The Witch and The Wild One is the nerdy wizard stuff like fuck yeah get into the theory of it tell me about it. Like I yelped in delight at the part where Soft put a null cleft on the reflexive indicative, and again with Stone's stance of the axiom of proliferation. I would listen to an entire episode of Suvi doing research into her parents' works and experimenting with magic herself. I love it so much, as often as we get nerdy magical characters in stories I don't often see them engaging with the theory of it so much, specifically in ways that are relevant to the story itself (i am taking recs on that btw) and I love it so much Suvi is so cool for that alone I hope we get more of that in later episodes but I have absolutely no doubt about it, having watched Misfits and Magics s2 and knowing the amount of care and meaning Aabria Iyengar puts into building a magic system I am delighted to see her play a nerdy PC interacting with a magic system that seems to have so much depth and purpose. I wonder if she has particular headcanons or stuff like that about interesting wizardly quirks. I wanna learn everything about the lingua arcana. I'm so curious about how a linguistic versus dogmatic approach would go on the lingua arcana. I wanna read all of Soft, Stone and Suvi's research wizard Sky I love you you're so cool please teach me everything. WBN in general is so inspiring in terms of storytelling in general but this in particular makes the brain fireflies buzz wildly in there.
